In science class students completed the Etymology activity with their partners. Students were also assigned a "branch of science" that they will investigate the etymology of the name.

7th Grade Math:
Today 7th grade math students finished 1.2 Practice worksheet. We then graded this assignment as a class and introduced the new lesson covering Exponents (section 1.3).

Today students finished their work on 1.1 Practice and then graded it with table partners. As a class we then introduced section 1.2, covering variables and exponents, and completed several example problems.
