In science students continued working on their branches of science etymology project. Students will have tomorrow's class period to finish their projects and then we will have a "gallery walk" on Wednesday where students exhibit their work and all of our science classes critique each piece for the elements of design and content that were required.

7th Grade Math:
Today 7th grade math students continued to learn about the basics of "order of operations". Students worked with their table groups on section 1.4 Practice. A review assignment was given to students for homework at the end of the hour.
- Homework: Review #1 is due at the beginning of class on Wednesday
8th Grade Math:
Today in math, 8th graders learned about the order of operations and some special rules which apply to problems they will be practicing in this section of the textbook. Students are encouraged to try some of the activities and practice problems available on www.classzone.com. Students worked on section 1.3 practice at the end of the class and will finish this assignment tomorrow at the beginning of class. A multiplication facts review assignment was given as homework at the end of class.
