7th & 8th Grade General Science: Today in science students handed in their Wanted posters at the beginning of class. Next we transitioned into dissections. Today students were introduced to the tools and equipment that they will use in the next class period when they dissect frogs. Today we practiced for the frogs by dissecting an earthworm. Students were to follow the directions provided and complete the activity of labeling and observing where the different organs and the associated body systems were located in the worm.Homework: None
7th Grade Math: Today in math, students began class by working with their flashmasters for the first five minutes of class. Chapter 6 was introduced to the students next, and students began working with integers, both positive and negative. After a bit of instruction and a few practice problems, students were given a worksheet to apply their skills.
Homework: Finish the 6.1 worksheet if they did not finish in class. The end of the 3rd quarter is this Friday and Wednesday is the final day to turn in late or unfinished work.

Ratios is the next subject to tackle, and after a bit of instruction and a few practice problems, students were given a worksheet to apply their knowledge.
