7th & 8th Grade General Science: Today in science students finished with their presentations. Students got up in front of their classmates and presented their assigned body system as a means of "teaching" their body system to their classmates.
Homework: None

7th Grade Math: Today in math, students began class using their flashmasters. Students spent the first twenty minutes of class working on the worksheet from section 5.5, before we introduced how to convert customary units in section 5.6.
Homework: Students have the opportunity to make up any missed assignments between today and Wednesday, instead of being assigned another review homework.

8th Grade Math: Today in math, students began class with using their flashmasters. Students were then introduced to section 5.6 in their text books. This section focuses on using the multiplicative inverse of fractions to solve equations. After some instruction and guided practice, students were given the worksheet 5.6 to practice their skills. We reviewed this section to begin the day, and then introduced the first method of section 5.7. Students are to do problems 1-9 the odds for tomorrow.
Homework: Students have the opportunity to make up any missed assignments between today and Wednesday, instead of being assigned another review homework.
