8th Grade Math: Today in math students finished practicing skills using percents and division and then began the second "life math" assignment.  In this assignment students begin working toward making a balanced budget based upon their monthly income.

7th Grade Math: In 7th grade math students reviewed various units in the metric system.  They then began a metric measurement lab to practice their measurement skills in challenging scenarios.

7th/8th Grade Science: Today in science students finished working on the minerals identification lab.  They applied their understanding of mineral properties such as hardness, luster, color, streak color, and density to determine the identity of unknown minerals.
