Core 3 Mathematics:
Today in class we practiced converting fractions to decimals. The class then had time to work on practice problems involving addition and subtraction of fractions with unlike denominators. There will be a quiz tomorrow over material from section 5.1-5.3.
Homework: Finish 5.3 Practice which we worked on in class for 25 minutes (#2, 4, 10, 14, 20, 25-28 all, & #30). Also begin working on Review #3 (Atomic Numbers/Weighty Matters) which is due Wednesday at the start of class.
Life Science:
In science students continued dissecting frogs. The class will complete their frog dissections tomorrow.

Core 3 Mathematics:
Today in class we went over homework which was handed out yesterday (Wednesday). The class then had time to work on practice problems involving addition and subtraction of fractions with like denominators.
Homework: Finish 5.2 Practice which we worked on in class for twenty minutes (#2-24 evens and #31). Also finish Review Homework #2 which was handed out on Wednesday.
Life Science:
In science students finished their note taking guide to a PowerPoint lecture presented by Mr. Watts. We then dissected Earth worms to practice procedures and techniques that we will employ tomorrow and Monday to dissect frogs.
Homework: None

Homework: Begin work on Review #2 which is due Friday

Homework: Finish section 5.1 classwork problems (#2-24 evens and 11, 21, 23).
