Tuesday January 8th

Core 3 Mathematics:
Today in class students completed a simple measurement and area calculation exercise. We then reviewed the main concepts from section 5.1 which we started in class yesterday. This included converting both fractions to decimals and decimals to fractions.
Homework: Finish section 5.1 classwork problems (#2-24 evens and 11, 21, 23).
Also, finish the Review worksheet #1 which was handed out yesterday (Monday).

Life Science:
In science students finished their note taking guide for the skeletal system and the muscular system. They then began notes from a PowerPoint lecture that Mr. Watts delivered to both our classes.
Homework: None (book report was due today at the start of class)
