Today in science students read through a handout from the textbook that described the inverse relationship between distance from light source and light intensity. The class then made preparations for their third light lab in which they will test temperature as it relates to angle or distance from the light source.

7th Grade Math:
Today in class completed the Juneau School District's 7th grade (CORE 2) Math Assessment.
Homework: Review #7 (converting metric units) is due tomorrow
8th Grade Math:
In math students continued to practice how to solve one-step equations that involve decimals by completing 2.7 Practice. Students graded their work at the end of class so they have feedback on their understanding of this section. There will be a Chapter Test over chapter 2 on Thursday of this week. We will have a chapter review session tomorrow during class. Students are encouraged to work through review problems for Chapter 2 on the textbook's website (classzone.com). There is a link to this website on the "useful links" section of this class web page.
