Thursday December 4th

7th & 8th Grade General Science:
Today in science we discussed the importance of a planet having an atmosphere and how the principle of "greenhouse effect" occurs. Students then completed a lab comparing the temperature increase of a lamp shining on a cup of sand & water with no plastic top to one with a plastic top. Students will look at their results tomorrow and draw conclusions based upon their data.
Homework: none

7th Grade Math:
Today in math seventh graders reviewed how to complete conversions within the metric system. The class then worked on the chapter review section at the end of chapter two. There will be a test tomorrow in class.
