In science students continued working with their partner to complete their astronomy models of either the Earth/Moon, Earth/Sun, or Solar System/Milky Way Galaxy. Tomorrow will be the final class period to complete this mini project.

7th Grade Math:
Today in math 7th graders were introduced to scientific notation. They took notes and then practiced several problems from 2.5 practice. We will finish our work in this section tomorrow.
Homework: Review #5 (story problems with decimals) is due Friday. Show all work for full credit.

In math class 8th graders continued learning about and practicing the PROCESS for solving algebraic equations with addition or subtraction.
Homework:
- Finish Section 2.5 Practice worksheet 1-15 all and 16-28 evens
- Review #5 (one step equations with addition and subtraction) is due Friday. Students choose 10 problems from the sheet and must show all their work.
