Core 3 Mathematics:
No math today as we were busy with a two hour block period of science.
Homework: Begin studying for Chapter 4 Test which will be Wednesday of next week.

Life Science:
Today in science students were introduced to three activities that they will be working on over the next several days of science class. First, students observed the bacteria films they cultured at the end of last week. They analyzed their results and made conclusions to answer their original question. They then worked on the initial phases of a "Preserving Food" activity in which teams of students went through the steps of canning salmon. The third activity was to find a book that has a topic or plot line which relates to bacteria, viruses, or disease. They checked these books out from the library and will read them over break, filling out the report guide as they read. The report is due on January 8th.
Homework: Begin reading book for "Science Book Report" which will be due after winter break.
