Core 3 Mathematics:
In Math students began working on a display that will highlight the process to solve multi-step equations.
Homework: Finish Algebra Review Practice Sheet (order of operations) EVENS both sides.
Life Science:
Students continued working on their Douglas Deer Study write up today. They have class time each day until Wednesday of this week.

Core 3 Mathematics:
In Math we reviewed questions from their homework on adding, subtracting, and dividing fractions from this past weekend. The class then completed a mid chapter quiz over sections 3.1 to 3.3. When they finished students had some time to get caught up on missing work or start tonight's homework.
Homework: Finish the Two Step Equations Practice Worksheet (Evens BOTH sides).

Core 3 Mathematics:
In Math students reviewed section 3.1 which introduced multiple step equations.
Homework: Section 3.1 Practice #1-31 odds (due tomorrow... actually due last week, but many people did not turn it in).
Life Science:
Today students looked at data from our deer study field trips. They calculated averages for vegetation cover and canopy cover as well as calculating a scat density for one of the sites.
Homework: Finish data calculations page which was worked on in class.
